Dena (Minning) Grayson, MD, PhD is a biotechnology entrepreneur with strong leadership skills, clear strategic vision, proven drug development expertise, and successful fundraising and business development experience. Dr. Minning has played a key role in raising over $119 million in venture and non-dilutive capital while serving as an executive for several biotechnology companies, including $64 million from NIH/NIAID, awarded for
the development of a broad-spectrum antiviral for Ebola and other biodefense indications (Warren et al., 2014, Nature, Protection against filovirus diseases by a novel broad-spectrum nucleoside analogue BCX4430).

Dr. Grayson has developed drug candidates in hematology / oncology, infectious diseases / biodefense, nephrology, cardiology, metabolism, inflammation, neurology, and several orphan indications. Dr. Minning is experienced with multiple therapeutic modalities, including small molecules, peptides, monoclonal antibodies, proteins, cancer vaccines, and cellular therapies.
