Research summary
Elucidating the role of the human microbiota in maintaining human health and forming an immune response is an active area of investigation. My work in Dr. Andrew Kau’s lab uses both traditional wet lab techniques and computational tools to study UTI89, a uropathogenic strain of E. coli, and the developing neonatal human microbiota.
