Research summary
The Uberoi lab investigates host-microbiome-environmental interactions that regulate epithelial function. In this context, I explored which xenobiotic receptors are active in the skin and how they regulate epithelial function. The goal was to examine which xenobiotic receptors are activated in skin and liver cells using known xenobiotic ligands via RNA expression.
