MSTP student stipend: $38,500

All accepted students also receive:

  • Full tuition: $64,500
  • Health fee for all Student Health Services: $4,180
  • Network access fee: $534
  • Disability insurance: $32
  • Voluntary dental insurance
  • Metro U-Pass
  • Professional development funds: Up to $1,000
  • Child daycare subsidy:
    • $3,550 per semester for one eligible child
    • $4,550 per semester for two eligible children
    • $5,550 per semester for three or more eligible children

Continued support is guaranteed for the duration of your graduate and medical studies, provided that you maintain satisfactory progress toward completion of the degrees. Medical coverage for spouses, domestic partners and dependents is available.

Due to this moderate cost of living, our program boasts the best stipend to cost-of-living ratio of any MSTP in the nation. In fact, our current 2023-24 stipend is equivalent to $104K in New York City; $80K in San Francisco; $66K in Seattle, Los Angeles or San Diego; $65K in Boston; $52K in Chicago; $46K in Baltimore or Philadelphia; and $43K in Durham, Atlanta or Nashville!
