Research summary
Analyzed post-injury mouse kidneys to investigate how depletion of a macrophage subset impacts tissue recovery using the Visium HD spatial transcriptomics platform. Optimized cell segmentation strategies to accurately assign spatial bins to individual cells and integrated fluorescence imaging data of macrophage-lineage cells to validate spatial clusters and uncover additional biological insights.
