Research summary
Clinical data has shown chondrosarcoma to exhibit a low mutational burden, suggesting tumorigenesis is driven by epigenetic regulation. Clinical data has also identfied DNMT3B as candidate gene strongly associated with poor prognosis in patients. The Clever lab is investigating the role of DNMT3B in regulation of cancer progression in chondrosarcomas.
