Research summary
I study mechanisms of selective translation that occurs in endometerial cancer due to activation or loss of interferon stimulated gene activity. I employ techniques such as cell culture, qPCR, western blotting, polysome profiling, and flow cytometry among others to elucidate the translational changes that might be occuring to make endometrial cancer cell lines more or less resistant to alterations in interferon stimulated genes.
