Research summary
This past summer I worked in the lab of Drs. Albert Kim and Allegra Petti exploring spatial tumor heterogeneity in glioblastoma and using computational techniques to develop a workflow to quantify and isolate substates in glioblastoma for comparative single-cell omics using oligonucleotide-conjugated antibodies. My future work will investigate the expressional dynamics and differences that promote tumor invasiveness and spread in the context of glioblastoma, and how different glioblastoma expressional states and polarization amongst these states can change these tumor characteristics.
