Research summary
I work in the lab of Dr. Daniel Link, in the Oncology Division, Section of Stem Cell Biology. We aim to understand the regulation of hematopoiesis, and to elucidate the molecular pathogenesis of hematologic malignancies for translational application. My current research projects focus on the aggressive hematologic malignancy T-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Through use of patient-derived xenograft models, flow cytometry, live-cell imaging, CRISPR-Cas9 editing, and molecular phenotyping, I hope to elucidate both the contribution of particular stress responses to T-ALL pathogenesis and to explore the cellular mechanism of a potentially synergistic chemotherapeutic combination.
