Research summary
My research project focuses on identifying genes required for axonal maintenance of metabolically impaired axons. This can be done by looking at compensatory changes that allow metabolically perturbed axons to survive long-term and through genetic screening for mutants that are essential for axonal survival in metabolically impaired axons.
