Research summary
Last summer, I rotated in the Kendall lab and I worked on a project looking at how BTK, a protein involved in B cell signaling, affects IgA repertoire and the gut microbiome in the context of autoimmune diabetes.
This spring, I rotated in the Schwartz lab studying how the gut microbiome influences immune development in early life using a gnotobiotic mouse model of a humanized neonatal microbiome.
