Research summary
I am working in the lab of Dr. Carolina Lopez studying respiratory syncytial virus replication and viral particle assembly. I have multiple projects in the lab studying the function of certain mutations in RSV replication-associated proteins as well as viral particle assembly pathways. Increased understanding of RSV replication and virion assembly will reveal novel pathways for antiviral development which is currently lacking in the clinical landscape.
