Research summary
My project looks to characterize changes in resting state functional connectivity of the brain that is associated with corticospinal tract lesions and subsequent recovery, enhanced using a brain computer interface after innate motor recovery plateaus. We will use bilaterally implanted electrocorticographic arrays and fMRI to record local field potential and blood oxygen level-dependent signals as a measure of functional connectivity.
